Frequently asked questions
Is AboVeille free?
Yes, for up to 3 active tracked subscriptions, with the full dashboard and notification alerts before each payment. Beyond that, the Premium plan (€1.49 / month or €14.99 / year, 7-day trial with a bank card, no commitment) unlocks unlimited subscriptions, the price-rise history, the Analysis page, CSV export, the weekly digest and summary emails (monthly update + yearly review).
Can I cancel Premium at any time?
Yes, effective at the end of the period already paid for. How you cancel depends on where you subscribed. On the website, by card: My account → Manage my subscription (secure Stripe portal). In the iPhone or Android app: from your Apple or Google account settings, at least 24 hours before renewal — the “Manage or cancel my subscription” link in My account takes you there. Your 3 oldest active subscriptions then stay free, and nothing is deleted.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No, never. AboVeille is deliberately declarative: you enter your subscriptions yourself, in 30 seconds each. No bank details are requested or stored.
How is it different from a budgeting app?
A budgeting app looks back: how much did you spend. AboVeille looks ahead: what are you committed to, when will it come round again, and has the price gone up — so you can decide to keep, switch or cancel.
What happens if I forget to confirm a payment?
Nothing serious, and above all nothing automatic: the entry carries a “to confirm” badge and, if it lasts, the monthly total states how many subscriptions are no longer confirmed. AboVeille never changes your data on your behalf.
Does AboVeille cancel my subscriptions for me?
No. AboVeille helps you spot the right moment and the right reason (a price rise, a service you barely use), and you stay in charge of cancelling with the service concerned.
Can I install AboVeille on my phone?
Yes: on Android, AboVeille is available on Google Play. It also installs as an app (PWA) from the browser. On Android, Chrome offers “Install app”. On iPhone: Safari → Share button → “Add to Home Screen”. That is also what lets you confirm straight from the notification. On iPhone, it is also available on the App Store.
Is my data protected?
Yes. Data is hosted in the European Union and encrypted in transit; the most sensitive — service names, amounts and price history, payment methods, categories — is also encrypted in the database. It is protected by a personal account, with no advertising trackers. You can export or delete your data at any time.
